About

Weight training is about moving weight.

Thats the first lesson I was taught when I first entered the gym almost 20 years ago.

This philosophy forms the foundation for all of my training.

It is with this belief and mentality I have been able to transform myself from being obese at close to 40% body fat and weighing over 100kg, to sitting year round at 7% body fat and just under 80kg. Along the way I have built my strength up to achieve world class max lifts of a 250kg squat, 180kg bench press and a 320kg deadlift. All at under 85kg. This level of strength and Body Recomposition have resulted in me obtaining the highest level of Recomp qualification: Specialist.

With this expertise I have been able to help hundreds of people achieve their body and strength goals passing on my knowledge and experience of how to Recomp through both face to face and online coaching.

A client is only as good as the coach. If the coach has never achieved any level of success then there is little chance for the client.

The single reason you step into a gym is to get stronger. Want more muscle? You need to be stronger. Want less fat? You need to be stronger. Want a faster more efficient metabolism? You need to be stronger. Want to eat more food? You need to be stronger. Want to improve your technique? You need to be stronger. Want to heal injuries? You need to be stronger.

Notice a trend?

Everything comes back to strength and that can be measured simply by the amount of weight you are using.

Weight training is about moving weight.

I have never been one for fads. I was taught bar and plate basics. The big three: Bench Press. Squat. Deadlift. If they go up, you got stronger. If you get stronger you will build more muscle. If you have more muscle, you will have less fat.

Thats Recomposition.

Weight training is about moving weight.

I like to lift weights.

I like body recomposition.

That’s who I am.
